Use this time to sift through your thoughts. Which thoughts are useful and which thoughts are you having that are NOT useful. (use the workbook to map it out)
Recognize a thought you’re having and then ask how it makes you feel to think this thought - this process will require you to think!
For example: If the thought I’m having is “I didn’t get enough done today” - ask yourself how does this thought make you feel. You might say it makes me feel “defeated", hopeless” so you would write this thought under NOT USEFUL thought.
On the left hand side of the page write down all of the thoughts you’re having that are USEFUL thoughts. On the right hand side of the page write down all of the thoughts you’re having that are NOT USEFUL thoughts.
AND answer these two questions. . . .
