During this time you'll learn about the nervous system - and the correlation between yoga & the nervous system, you'll learn how to guide others through a restorative class as well as an experience of yoga nidra (which is a systematic meditation down regulation practice).

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and a healing art that can be used as a preventative tool and also as a tool to live in full alignment with your constitution and who you naturally are. This weekend program will be spent understanding how to cook ayurvedically, how to live in respect to the seasons and your constitution, and the process of disease from an ayurvedic perspective.

The chakras give a language to the energy that everywhere - within you and around you. You'll experience how to feel and connect with your own aura and energetic field.

A deep dive into yoga philosophy (REQUIRED) - There comes a point where yoga is less about the physical practice of asana and yoga can be a practice that can be taken into every moment of every day. During this module you'll deepen your own relationship with how to infuse yoga into your breathing present moments and what that looks like in a practice way. We'll parallel the ancient yogic texts and teachings to modern day life. (The Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita and more)
